Hi, I've got a top dash rail were both of the out captive bolts are damaged. Is it possible to remove the leather cover, repair the bolts then put the cover back on?

Hey,

 

No idea, we have never removed the original plastic cover (as you trim replacement covers over the top) - so unfortunately, I couldn't tell you. However, the captive nuts are on brackets attached to the dash rails, so you should need to remove the other side to access them.

I currently have a half leather standard black spi interior (single post head rest) but it has red piping and my car is blue.
I'm keen to keep the standard interior as much as possible but would like the piping changed to blue on all seats and door cards.
How much would I be looking at for this to be done?

Good morning Nic,

 

If you are looking to simply change the colour of piping on your current seats - it's a much bigger job than you might think:

 

- Seat covers off.

- Seat covers picked apart.

- New piping sewn in.

- Seat cover back on.

 

If they are a single post head rest seat it is much easier to do and you would be looking at around the £180 to £200 mark. Whereas if they are an SPi seat (so twin post head rest) you would be looking at around the £210 to £240 (as internal fixing methods would also need to be replaced).

 

And regarding the door cards - we would need to see them, to see if it is possible.

Not as part of our product range, but we can always fabricate a bespoke console for you. However, we would need to Mini here at Optimise HQ to fabricate a console for an automatic.
