Yes I certainly can set that up for - instructions on how to set the discount up can be found in the opening post of this thread.

Basically, please email me ([email protected]) stating your TMF username, I will then check the reply in the thread (to check that you are a registered TMF+ member) and reply to the email with your discount coupon code (which is unique to you). I will also include within the email reply instructions regarding how to claim the 5% discount.

It’s incredible to think that I initially launched a boot lining kit way back in 2004, after I had made one for my own Classic Mini and a fellow theminiforum.co.uk member said "that looks great, can you make me one?”.

 

The boot liner was the beginning of Optimise Automotive, it was the first item I developed, the first item I released for sale and the first inkling and inspiration behind the process of turning a pass time into a job.

 

Fast forward to 2017 and regrettably, with a price of £45 (+P&P) you guys are no longer buying our original boot lining kit.

 

So, sadly (it almost brings tear to my eye), the “boot lining kit original” (the final reincarnation of the boot liner I developed in 2004) has been retired from the range and replaced with these new beauties:

Product Update - Fuel Bibs

 

It is company policy here at Optimise to always review the feedback we receive (both good & bad) and if it's bad feedback we obviously need to find what was wrong.

 

With the above in mind, following a recent complaint with regards to the rear side of our fuel bibs we have made a product update, to ensure that both sides of the item are trimmed in matching material.

To be honest, it’s a bit of a strange one this and despite this being a completely pointless update (as you do not see the back of the item when it is installed, hanging from the fuel pipe neck), it is an update that we kind of agree with and it is without doubt an update that makes the item much better (not when installed - but as a finished, quality, stand alone item).

 

We completely sympathise with the complaint and we understand that you guys naturally want the item to look finished, in situ or not in situ. As mentioned above, the back of this item is 99% hidden when installed (unless you specifically look for the back, you can't see it) and despite the back of the item being well trimmed and tidy (as photographed above), it was an open backed item (meaning you could see the inner workings of the fuel bib).

 

Anyway, we have made the update and the back is now completely trimmed (in the matching material), as photographed above.

 

There has been a slight price increase of £6 - but, I think you will agree the additional cost is worth it for such a superior finish.

A new range of boot liners…

It’s never been the cheapest kit on the market, but that hasn’t ever mattered as you guys have always been willing to pay a little bit more, to get something far superior. Frustratingly though, following a recent price increase of £5 (in August 2017), the jump from £35 (inc P&P) for the entry level boot liners available on eBay to £45 (+P&P) for our kit is obviously too much.

New & Updated Classic Mini Seat Cover/Retrim Designs

We have recently made a number of major updates to our “standard” Classic Mini seat cover/retrim designs. We have streamlining the range, creating “retro” designs for the early seat styles and “luxury” designs for the later seat styles.

BESPOKE TRIM

Before Christmas we added a number of popular bespoke options to the website, including plenty of information photos and guide prices.

Over the coming months we will tell you more about these popular bespoke options and let's start with parcel shelf boards, as the Union Jack option is already proving very, very popular.

 

 

 

 

As you can see from the photos above, the parcel shelf can very easily be transformed from a very plain piece of trim, to a featured piece of trim. 

 

Prices for bespoke parcel shelf boards are completely unique and will vary from project to project depending on the trimmings (leatherette, leather, micro suede, Alcantara, cloth etc.), layouts and/or custom design that is required.

 

As a guide, prices for bespoke designs start at around £40. For more information and if you would like a bespoke quote put together, please contact us.

Bespoke Work Schedules

Our bespoke schedules are filling up extremely fast at the moment and we are already completely booked up until mid March. However, with several quotes awaiting confirmation we could shortly be booked up into late April/early May.

 

As a result, if you are interested in having any bespoke interior retrim work completed before the summer, we recommend getting in touch ASAP to avoid disappointment.

Just emailed you regarding TMF discount. However, have you got picture examples of your soft touch and brushed nylon headliners as well as examples of retrimmed sunvisors? I'm considering doing my MPi out in black and want to make sure i'm getting the right thing.
