doubtful, need to get mounting bracket sorted first so whenever i get that done ill finish it off lol

if you need any help with fitting yours or whatever just PM me or just post up in here as ill most likely be on all day
hopefully my little guide will help, i managed to do what ive done so far without looking at minifinity guide all the way through so it isn't hard to do.

time consuming bit is stripping wire, crimping and heat shrinking but shouldn't talk long

yh, i was thinkin that although if i get the stuff online i gotta wait for it to come and it may not arive till next week and i cud have got it on the weekend lol. the fabric has to come of the internet so i may just do it all online.

you know that you've wired the positive cable up. have you just left it as it is with the connecter exposed or have you covered the other terminal up.

well youve connected one end of the positive wire to the solenoid and have you covered the other end of the wire. to prevent it from shorting other wires or other things lol.

ohh the end of the wire thats sitting in the car..atm because there is now power really going to anything through it.
theres no ring terminal on it yet as i havent decided on position of cigi lighter but once that is sorted i will cut the wire to the right length, crimp a terminal to it and heat shrink it but atm its just left how it was when i got it

ah right. sounds good. i was reading other forums on here about this and other people had just connected it through their ignition lead. they were talking about 5 amp wiring but they did not explain in detail. they just said they used 5 amp wiring. that cant be right lol. surely the power you will be running of the lighter would just melt the wires lol

could be running 5amp wire as they are only running it through the ignition wire :S

i dont know tbf, on the back of the cigi lighter i have it says to make sure u was a 15-20amp fuse so therefore would need wiring at higher amps to suit the fuse

does sound wierd but could be possible

Slightly off topic but does anyone know where you can get just a plug for a 12v socket as i don't need a the lighter part just don't want a open hole.

I have tried hard to know what to search for.

I mean like a bit of plastic thats flat and fits over the hole to cover it up if you know what i mean.
