Now if there are some bourbons or chocolate hob nobs as well, you might have a deal !!

Superb, thanks Ethel.
I had seen this part the Somerford site but NLA.
If I am correct, this should be a simple relay / timer with the activation coming from the intermittent position on the stalk, and the switched element being wired in parallel to the speed one circuit?
Regards

I seem to have been doing the odd bit here and there but not a huge lt to show for it. Not on the mini anyway as I've been helping my pal rebuild the top end of his Peugeot HDi engine after the cam timing chain slipped a cog. I've never seen a chain so worn. One of the pins was worn half way through!! Suprisingly, this isn't listed as a service item like the belt (car done 112,000 mls). Caught just in time with no serious damage.
Thanks for the comments as always.
I have finally finished the MPI steering conversion and thanks to TMF and in particular Ethel, I now have fully working intermittent wipers and combined screenwash / wipe. Amazing!!
The newer type switches are much better and have a better quality action to them.
I still need to find a mini centre for the steering wheel as the one I have is MG.
(Tip - MG breakers are much better priced for these bits than the mini specialists)
Mini-jon: A picture of the choke for you. (not best picture, sorry). I simply cut down the original angled bracket from behind the switch panel and screwed it into the lower dash rail.

Hope this helps.
Bert998: The lower rail looks well, I'm really pleased with it. Don't forget to drop me the invoice for the next bit when you have a mo', I'd like to get on with that.
Next bit................. What next bit................... Well, you'll just have to wait and see!!
After what I considered a wasted trip to Stoneleigh, I thought I'd better get on with the grille. If nothing else to keep Peter quiet !!
The lamps have had to come off to facilitate fitting but they will be going back on.
Proof I've got one !

Just need to figure out how to fit it now!
And finally for this brief update............ Whilst I was at the MG breakers, I got talking to his wife about the mini and plans for the interior.
She dissapeared off back into the unit and 10 minutes later........

They obviously need re covering but for the price......? Lets just say the fuel to Stoneleigh and back probably cost me more!
That's all today, said it was brief.
Thanks for looking
Regards
Steve
