Keep up the good work, your welds look pretty decent.

This might sound cruel but it's really nice to see an Estate that's a rotten as mine.

It really is rotten in places. Spent some time cutting out dodgy metal today, the plasma cutter makes it much quicker. I don't have any box section for bracing to cut out the sills. Hopefully start to put some metal in tomorrow.

Lots of new metal arrived today to add to the two front floors, rear subframe repair panels and A-Panels I already have:
Front rear wheel arch closing both sides
Rear floors both sides
Inner sills both sides
Door jam and flitch both sides
Plenty to be getting on with, only poor welding skills as an excuse!

Been tidying up the front subframe, painting it in stages with red oxide
And starting work on the flitch panel, how it looked before and now

Pretty much finished the drivers side front floor and flitch. Needs a bit of tidying up for me to be completely happy with it.
I've moved the shell to the other side of the garage so I can start on this section now, this is going to be one of the hardest bits IMO. I've made a start on it, got the floor, inner sill and outer side out.

Hoping to get a few days off work whilst it's warm and dry to make some progress. Might even try and get the shell outside for some Vitamen D

I get very little time to work on it and very low on motivation as it needs a hell of a lot of work that I have absolutely no idea how to do!
Currently the main job list stands at:
two new front wings
a panels
flitch panels
replace the front floors that I've put in badly
new rear floors
sills
new rear arches
scuttle ends
rear front subframe mounts
Plus lots of little odd jobs around. I may have the opportunity of getting hold of another Clubman estate that's been garage bound for ten years so i'm going to take a look around that before continuing with this I was planning on getting someone in to do a couple of days work in the New Year to jump start but I'm not sure it's worth it.
I'll get some more pics up later today.
