got last bit of welding done this weekend rewelded the a panel in the correct place also welded a strip on the edge of the door to close the door lines ups looks great. also started to put my alarm in.on monday me and my dad are spending a whole day on the body so after monday it should be ready for primer. fingerscrossed

well spent monday and today on the body worked my way round 3 sides should be in primer within next 2 weeks

hi been out today working on the mini. did most of the filler work excpt from 3 places. one on dent on the roof dent in the passenger door as it fell over and on the rear panel where the old aerial was. then primer time!!!! looking to do primer either next weekend or the weekend after that. i have also masked the car up ready will post some pictures up asap

Just one tip, if you leave the masking tape on for more than a few days it can become quite stuck and leave sticky stuff behind.

yeh the tape is only on the edges as i am not masking all the windows and doors etc. just covered up dash and roll cage etc with polythene

Right update had a bust weekend working on the mini. done all the body work except from one door but doesnt matter yet as i am not priming them next weekend. but the car will thats a will be in primer either on sunday or tuesday proberly sunday i have masked most things up just gotta do boot and then the wheels when ready. also today sanded the arches ready for primer/paint so yeh its getting there cant wait to get it in primer and im actually doing the primer then my dad is doing the top colour coat. well will update again when its paint fingercrossed it will be okay
