Been out working on the mini this weekend. more of the filler work :) but at last getting there just got to do a couple more skims of filler on some parts. then final sand over before paint and just got to also sand the groves a bit on the front panels. I will be ordering some more stone chip as i have decided to coat the boot area in it to make it look better and to protect it.Then after i will just have to wait till the temperature gets to around 20 degrees so my dad can spray it for me .

will update again when i have done the boot

cheers
Josh

Door looks better, I think it needs to come up a bit more, maybe file some slots in the mounting hole to raise it a bit?

Good Work

thanks yeh i think its just gonna take a bit of mucking about with it i have filed some slots to push the door out but having a slight problem when opening the door it slightly hits on the a pannel. and on that drivers door just left of the where the handle goes the gap between the door and the quarter panel is a bit big compared with the passenger side any ideas

cheers

that drivers door looks as if it need to go up more (file the holes in the hinge panel as said) and some shims on the hinges to push it back towards the rear a bit more and away from the apanel.

You really DON'T need to weld the door though, all it needs is the holes filing out in the hinge panel and some spacer shims behind the hinges, then it will fit perfectly.
