right today i recieved my new battery and i put that in so i could change all the rear mk2 light wiring to the new.also put another speaker in and mades sure all the lights etc worked ok which it didnt its was shorting out on the air filtter so kept blowing the indicator fuse also the connection for the bulbs werent too good so i cleaned them up aswell. and i put the rear quarter windows in too. over the weekend i will be flatting the 2 doors and boot ready for spraying next week one evening. proberly wednesday. as it needs to be ready for an mot by next saturday night as i am going away for 10days then when i get back i will get it moted fingerscrossed it will pass then all ready for miniinthepark on thr 15th august

hi i got a few pictures of what i have done so far today i refitted the fuel tank and filler neck. put the rear self speakers in and put the washer jets on.

i should get the windscreen and rear window either tomorrow or friday

hi, well i have brought some new windows seals and i have fitted the rear window also i have booked the beast in for an MoT for august 13th so.. gotta get it all ready by then then that weekend i have booked a place on the tmf stand at mini in the park so... yep it getting there

Very nice work mate but I really think you need to change your belts, having them angled like that with them screwed into the rear bench is really not to safe or clever, if you have an accident they will NOT do their job properly I beleive and you could be in some trouble. Much better to have them on that cage, in the rear shelf (reinforced) or in the C-Pillar mounting point, I'd change them if I were you.

Other than that, top car!

i know what you mean about the angles where they are mount it pretty stong as they were the orginal holes for the rear mounts so.... and they and not the bolt on type they ar the clip ones clipped onto a ring so they can move

hi been bust flatting the doors this weekend also shultz the bottom and rear subframe. also wired in my 2 led in footwells look pretty smart. should be getting doors etc paint tuesday night or wednesday
