Thanks should go to MED however who have kindly offered to complete the engine that Oli, Prawn and Carol should have got.


Kudos should go to MED for helping out in what is quite a difficult situation.. i wish all those involved good luck!

I found out yesterday that Mander Cruickshank Solicitors are no longer representing Simon Morson. They also informed us that they have never sent any personal messages



Thats why i will not be buying an engine from morspeed despite inquiring previously
It could be quite beneficial for those who have had GOOD dealings with Morspeed to make a thread...

It certainly helps those looking for an engine builder!

YES we make mistakes NO were not perfect. YES sometimes we are late with delivery but YES the quality is exeptional.


yes you right - nobodys perfect
but I'am curious what you can say about our situation.....

Me and my friend are from Poland. After some nice emails with Simon we placed the order for 1400pounds (so not so small) - It was February 21st 2009!
What is important - before we placed the order Simon wrote that he has EVERYTHING in stock - it was FEBRUARY.
He wrote some excuses every 2weeks or month - I dont want to write how many email I wrote without any answer
Last emails was the best - I wrote that we cannot wait any longer and we waiting for OUR money, otherwise we report that to the Police
And what he wrote? - "Call the Police"
nice eghh???

and you saying nobodys perfect??? you want to say anything about Simon honesty???
he just stole our money nothing else


finally we recieved money back from Credit Card insurence !!! yes 1400 GBP back after 4 months !!!
we havent any answer from Morspeed so far but I am sure they will have trouble from Visa's site for sure

I will do all I can to warn anybody from Morspeed dealings because that company and his owner Simon Morson is nothing else just cheater and thief !!!

Now, I would like to ask a favour. Carol's court hearing should be coming up soon. From what I have heard neither Simon or his solicitors have been helpful or even compliant in the run up to court date. May I ask for everyone who has had negative dealings with Morspeed to email [email protected] with details of those dealings, keeping it entirely factual. Things like copies of receipts, bank statements (with sensitive data blanked out obviously), emails, letters, etc will all be very helpful. Please do all you can in order to help Carol through this very difficult time. I've spoke with her a couple of times very recently and I feel she's been quite drained by this whole experience.

Put it simple Jammy, just send a mass pm out not recommending Morspeed, your doing nothing wrong legal wise as its a recommendation, yet killing any trade they get from this forum

Just my idea, but for a "company" to act like this is stupid, childish. i mean come on there got to be better things to pick at like rust holes in my mini

Jammy doesn't want complaints to run a campaign against Morspeed. Many forum members contributed towards finishing Ollie's project, so there's a legitimate interest for TMF in assisting Ollie's Mum in reaching a fair settlement with Morspeed.

It's hard evidence that will satisfy the Court that's needed.

Exactly as Ethel says. I all for one for Morspeed getting their act together, and finding some customer service, as I think their end products can actually rival some of the best out there, it just such a shame that many of their customers never seem to be able to enjoy them!

Hi,

Not meaning to kick everything off again but a simple honest question are Morspeed still trading?. or are they just terrible at customer service (I hope the later)
They have had over £1000 of mine plus my engine and Osselli head for 6 weeks and now I can not get hold of them either by email or phone
I was told 3 weeks delivery.
Their Website is also now not available.
The engine and head are mine how do I go about getting them back?. I can try to get my money back from the credit card company although I have no real paperwork other than the credit card receipt.

Your credit card company should have enough info.

Neither Simon Morson or Morspeed are registered bankrupt.

I can't imagine a business phone line remaining connected for long if the bill isn't paid. It is the holiday season.

Yes, please keep forwarding info and reciepts to Jammy. This will help stop this company taking more peoples money!

I would seek advice from the credit card company also.
