If you change user name, the new name will show up in this thread in place of what you have at the moment. And your user number would stay the same as well which means instant look up of your current forum user name.
For your peace of mind get a new forum account and proceed to be happy in your new job best wishes.
Edit: Ahh ignore me what shorty said if you want to remove that mspd prefix!

If you need the info, by law they will have had to post notices at the trading premises explaining how to lodge your claim.
this applies for any property of yours in his keeping - it will all be sold off / auctioned to cover debts if you dont lay claim to it.
90% of the time any monies raised from the sell-off just about covers the solicitors, recievers and tax-mans bills, so dont hold too much hope.
sorry to sound a downer - just the way it is.
for the record, I hope he hasnt gone out business, or can re-form quickly.

If he has gone bust, and none of you have contacted the recievers managing his closure, or his solicitors and filed your claim, you'll probably get nothing.

You are sort of right but morspeed was not a limited company, so Mr Moson is liable if he has anyone goods or money he will have to sort the matter out as the courts will aid recovery. For the record, why?
You want somebody in the mini business with the a bad rep. I chose Morspeed to build my engine because of a good rep not a bad one, they may be good at building engines or were..... just not very good in business and the aftersales is something thos industry could do with out

At least I got the majority of my engine and parts back.
He has been promising me a refund of £254 (for missing parts) for 3 weeks and at the weekend when we took the clutch apart he had fitted a standard clutch plate and not the AP one I paid for.
I thought it was odd the phone had stopped working and the wreck of a car that was parked outside was gone the last time I was there and they did not seem that busy.
How do I go about trying to get my money back?.
One very bad experiance from the start to the finish.
What does the guy who worked there from the forum say?. Just read a few earlier mails and see he has parted company.
I had taken today off to drive up to the workshop again, glad I read this before wasting another day and £40 in petrol.

Exactly my thoughts. My only concern is that we will see him again just trading under a different name. Different name, same issues.
