hello guys and gals.

We are currently putting together an essential history of the Classic Mini, to go on the website, with the help of Taffy. All the information needed is collected/compiled and I am currently working on getting it all published on the website.

Anyway the guide will be a lot better if it is accompanied by as many photos as possible, so I'm in need of a few photos. As you can see some Mk's have already been filled, but, if you think your photo of your original Mini is 'nicer' than the current one, please submit it, as nothing is yes t be finalised.

Mini Mk1 (1959–1967)

Mini Mk2 (1967–1970)

Mini Mk3 (1969–1975)

Mini Mk4 (1976-1983)
Posted Image

Mini Mk5 (1984–1989)
Posted Image

Mini Mk6 (1990–1995)
Posted Image

Mini Mk7 (1996–2000)

Mini Van

Mini Estate

Mini Moke

Riley Elf

Wolseley Hornet

It doesn't matter what model or year the car is, (be a standard roundnose, clubman or limited edition model) just as long as it is original, and I basically need one from each of the 7 Mk Mini's.

Finally, please only post photos of your own Mini's, or photos that you have permission to use, as I need permission from the car owner to publish the image (don't worry I will blur out numberplates). Therefore, by posting your photos here I will assume you are giving me permission

So, thanks in advance.

Roberts

maybe you should worry about getting the dates right before you look for pics :( :w00t:

so lets asume you got the years right (which you didnt), we can asume from your list that all the mk's changed on january 1st can we ???? well they didnt do that either

for example, its possible to have a 1984 Mk4 and Mk5 as the change point was in the middle of the year, your list does not reflect this :)

the Mk6 started in 1991 but the mk5 carried on till 1992 because the city and mayfair went Mk6 later than the Cooper.

seems you have more homework to do

so your going to create a "comprehensive" guide to the mini and your not worried about getting the facts right ????

why bother, there are 100's of naff guides already on the internet, why make another one ?? >_<
