Aha!!

I had a box of bits given to me the other day and in there was a bracket that looks like a lower arm bracket!!

This ones got a slot in it for adjustment though?

Are you at IMM?

Little update: Made a gear gaitor for the centre console as the old one was battered, crispy and smelly.

PM sent, thanks Graeme.

Today - I shall be removing one side of the back drums and hopefully refurbishing them a bit, depends if they need. Haven't had the drums off yet so don't know what'd going to greet me underneath.

Took the shock mount off, found quite a bit of rust but I think it should be a fairly easy one to patch up  Also explored my sill, again, big hole,.. but look easy to repair and is surround by solid metal so should be quite straight forward..

Sounds deadening was from the local carpet place,.. and the Acoustic carpet was from Carmatsrus.co.uk, very cheap, very good.

Been working away slowly at this - not got much done recently but the past two nights I've done a bit - I'll post Pics tomorrow - but basically I have done the following:

* Stripped and undersealed N/S rear arch - solid as a rock, no rust found.
* Stripped down N/S rear drum, cleaned, backplate + drum painted, and partially rebuilt. No play in radius arm.
* Won something sexy for the front of the car on Ebay >_<

N/S Rear brake re-assembled and adjusted up:

Also got my secret things today!! No rat project is complete without the good ol' Yellow fog lamps :) so here they are - Bit rusty and a bit battered- but very bright! only £7.99 and that was including postage! Not sure weather to tape them as well as the headlamps - or weather to swap the tape over etc

The outsides are a bit rusty and the insides are... absolutely... completely, rusted out :) so I've sanded the bowls and coered the insides in under-seal.. so it's all protected now.

I love them, just need to work out if i need 1 on the front for the MOT or 2.... i believe it's two...

** Lower engine steady on.
** Sump plug on.
** N/S Arch area under-sealed including inner wing etc
