That is certainly getting along now, looking good. It will be cool when done.

What brand are the wheels? They would be perfect on my Escort Mk1 with bubble guards.

Alex, I'm in Cherwell heights, but sadly all the complicated work is being done elsewhere by professionals, as I didn't fancy messing it up myself. When it's running your more than welcome to come have a look at it.
Cobrav8, the wheels are 'revolution minators' got them from a welsh rally shop on eBay, just type in '8 x 13 ford wheels' and they should turn up. He also does different sizes etc and models and is very knowlegable. If your having trouble finding him drop me a pm and will send you a link.

SVA? Surely not! Lol. The log book will say it's a mini, and it will be in the shape of a mini, albeit it with a slightly different engine, which will be reflected in the log book. So as long as it passes an mot then it will be road legal without the need for an sva/iva!

Been able to take a couple of snaps...
Theres a few panels arrived, namely a couple of outer sills, scuttle repair panels, boot rear valance, so those are to fit as and when...

However work has started on the roll cage with the main hoop in and the door bars being mocked up

For those wanting to check out the space at the front end - and thats with an extra 6"

Hopefully soon to sorted is the matching bonnet, which now needs abit of chopping to clear the cambelt, ecu with suitable chip, wasted spark and IAW monitor so I can check and fault check the status of the engine.

Once again, my weekly update and a few more pictures......

I think you can now savely car my car a car
- the floor is taking shape, ie the big hole that ran the width of the mini is filled,
- the footwells have been covered as the sierra had lots of little slots in it,
- rear boot section has been sectioned off
- the sills are looking abit more respectable
- the rear bench has been completely removed, just leaving the parcel shelf
- rear valance has been tidied

however I will let the pictures do the work of explaining things

I'm using local businesses, as it's surprising what types of companies are right on your doorstep, well in my case on the local industrial estate!
