Well I haven't been doing as much as I would like, I've put a multipin connector on the front end to replace this lot!

I've put some heat shielding under the bonnet above the turbo to stop it blistering the paint.
I've swapped out all the rear suspension bolts as there were slop in them because the rose joints were mounted on the threads of the bolts.

So it's booked in tomorrow to get a four wheel alignment and corner weighting.
Then it should be ready for either the Staffordshire mini show or a run what you brung event at the pod on the 25th Jan

The cars been to the workshop to be 4 wheel aligned today and the drive back was soo much better.
I would recommend Northampton Motorsport!
While I was there I got it corner weighted... so feel free to guess the total weight with driver and half a tank of fuel.
I will post the weight over the weekend.

The car no longer crabs down the road! Whoop whoop.

I reckon it's heavier than we might think... 900kg?

Otter is the closest..
It's 982kg with driver.
I would like to say that weigh 200kg but I dont!

It's a heavier than I thought aswell, I can't really see where I can save huge amounts of weight!

Tis heavier than I had guessed... best wind the boost up to compensate!

You've got plenty of power to counteract the weight, and sub 1000kg is still a light car! I guessed it would weigh more because there's so much Sierra jammed in there, lots of structural bits that would weigh more.

Yeah something like that... Although the boost gauge has only been reading 1bar and it should go to 2.3!
I think either the Amal valve needs adjusting or the actuator.
I took it out the other day and it was the first time I pushed it into a corner. The car just gripped and maintained its lane around the roundabout.
I started to apply the accelerator whilst on the roundabout and it maintained its grip. I felt the g-force try to push me out the seat but then I started to see my exit. I increased speed, exited the roundabout and shifted into 3rd, then 4th, during this time my friend gave abit of a girly scream! Lol
Im well impressed and if that's 1/2 boost well I can't imagine how quick it will be!

Not much to report.
I've been putting off replacing the front diff oil seal but tomorrow I'm making an epic journey to have it set up and tuned.
So it should see 2.3bar!!!
I'll get some videos of it on the rollers.
Although rather unfortunately the stack unit doesn't work, so that needs repairing!
