Phoned up demon thieves to check why I haven't received my parts, to be told that they are on back order until 14/12!
Thanks for letting me know that! What a waste of a week waiting for parts.

That spool noise? So cool!

. Turbo pressure dump valve, it only happens when Kmol changes gear

either way I wish I had a car that sounded that cool. I'd endlessly be accelerating away to make the noise.

Wrong callum the noise you are hearing is turbo flutter and sounds 100 times better than any dump valve

Well it's difficult to distinguish, turbo flutter is released through the dump valve so you could argue it either way.

Turbo flutter noise is heard not only from a dump valve but back through a cone type filter. You tube it and you will hear what I'm talking about lol

Modified the oil return line as it wasn't clamping squarely and was leaking.
Needless to say it took hours to do as I wrapped the exhaust manifold when it was off, spaced out the water pump pulley which meant the alternator had to come out.
I have developed an ability to contort my hands quite well over the years but it was difficult working in the engine bay with everything in there!
