With regards to insurance it was cheaper than you think, classic 'kit car' insurance with an agreed valuation for a couple of hundred quid!

The tester just laughed when I drove it in!

Towards the end the front brakes are literally glowing red ..... its the quickest brake overhaul i've ever done!

More videos soon as im trying to extract better quality ones and edit them so they are a more manageable size to upload

Yeah I am pretty pleased... I'm still smiling.
I looked on the v5 of the mini and it says that I bought it 7 and a half years ago!

I went to tax my car online this morning only to be told to PAY for the privilege!
I then discovered that my v5 has the wrong tax class on it....
DVLA better get it sorted for me quick sharpish!

I know you will have put this down before but cant go looking at it all again

I take it is driving all 4 wheels   if so epic  all 4 wheel  spins lol

as a lot of cosworths had rear drive shafts removed so were 2wd  no idea why as 4wd is more fun

Yes it permanent 4wd, with a 60/40 split front to back.
Once I get some tax and get it aligned the fun will start!

It did get a couple of random glances yes. I did scare a small child as well, but that was by accident (honest)

Once it's all running nicely, I will have to test out the anti lag and launch control!

Are the brakes going to be an issue or is that all sorted now?
