It probably is, its the new auto specialists inlet which is the exact copy of the older hart inlet, but cheaper!
I was sick and tired of messing around with the swedish inlet so i'm just going to ebay it. (and plus i heard they are abit naff at distributing the air)
Although ive managed to get the turbo bolted to the tubular manifold after loctiting in the exhaust studs and installing the support bracket to the turbo.
All i have to do is to open up a couple of the holes on the head flange and she will fit on.
Although today I went to get the turbo flange leveled and walked in to the shop. I spoke to a guy called Wilf, he took it off me, lobbed the manifold onto a huge belt sander/grinder and literally a minute later it was perfect. He handed it back to me and sent me on my way! Needless to say i was impressed, i suppose its goes to show the right tool for the right job makes it much easier.
Tomorrow im going to get the engine bolted together and finished, then hit the internet once ive worked out which aeroquip fittings I need.

I've got to modify the oil drain pipe as it touches the manifold as can been seen in the above photo.
I've also got a turbo hanger to fit to help support the turbo.

Its been a while since the last update but things are moving along.....
I was having a nightmare trying to get the gearbox on but realised that the clutch wasnt aligned properly despite using the clutch alignment tool
Hydraulic clutch arm sorted... engine and gearbox in ....... rad and intercooler in....... steering roughly sorted etc etc
Clutch arm pictures (if anyone wants a few more details regarding how i did it, just let me know. Oh and the slave cylinder is of and Land Rover 2 /2a
Surely it cant fit in....... oh yes it can...
Just like to say a big thank you to all those that helped.... if your looking at the thread.... they know who they are.
Theres a whole new set of problems but things are moving forward

The niggles feel like they go on forever mate, fabricating all the little components takes more time than you think.
Don't get disheartened with it, we're all watching.

I want it water tight by next week and then wiring, fueling, seats, arches, diff mount and ancillaries and then it's ready to start.
Then it will be back to the drawing board with the flip front and then enjoy!
There's a big list of things to finalise but that's what cab ties are for arent they!?

Cut the dip stick down, fitted the breather in place and am still stumped as to where I'm going to get an oil temperature reading. I need an m12x1.25 which is abit annoying to get. I might just drill the sump. Got the perspex fitted all bar the doors, that's the job for tomorrow.
I don't care what anyone says I like the white and black contrast between the rubber seals and the paint. I also love the look of the rear lights. I refused to put the rear number plate light back on as it was metal and weighed the same as a small baby.
It's nearly water tight but the front doors with the door seals on are proving to be a pain in the rear. It's putting too much stress on the doors but I will get it fitted the best I can then address the issue.
Points to those to see how many times the paint work has been marked.... Lol
