If you ever want to know anything about regulations - the MSA publish them to the web. You can find all of the competition rules here:
http://www.msauk.org...sp?article=1122
and specifically the safety regulations about roll cage construction and so on can be found in section K on tha page or maybe here (if they allow direct linking):
http://www.msauk.org...afety)_(K).pdf
They need to go down onto a plate of 3mm thickness directly rather than through the short vertical tubes as you have them I think....

Is it just me or have you D-Locked it to the floor????
Seems to be, cant say I blame him! And maybe its because I'm 28 going on 12, but I had a little giggle at the masking tape over the turbo...

Well I will be working on it over the weekend so I will take some more pictures.
But the engine is out, suspension stripped and front hubs being rebuilt.
I must remember not to over pack the bearings with grease this time - like I did with the rears! lol
Allt he front end suspension is being replaced for adjustable units so bolting it back together should be child play in comparison to the seized passenger side hub nut that i had to undo!
And it surprises you how long it takes to weld up all those little bolt holes in both front wings and grind them flush again!
Anyhow lets hope sunshine over the weekend

pure crazy, i love it XD
i take it this is going to be a standard engine, tuning this bad boy could end up in serious chassis twist
good luck bud, Harri

Hopefully the chassis twist should be kept to a minimum with the roll cage being tied into the front and rear struts.

Nope it's going to be tuned and chipped to 'stage 3,' power level. Which should mean about 360bhp.
Hopefully the chassis twist should be kept to a minimum with the roll cage being tied into the front and rear struts.
wiked, i was hoping you was going to say that
