Unless slipping/riding it, the clutch won't have a hard life in a light car like a mini, in a heavy car it's going to be trying to slip all the time when pulling. But yes it does look a bit worn! And QR fuel connectors..?!!

Well im thinking of just fitting it and seeing what happens! As you say hopefully with it being a light car it will place less stress on the transmission (which will be stressed anyway) and the clutch! Crosses fingers!
Quick release fuel connectors - basically they are male and female connectors and when you slide the outer sleeve back they spring apart and the hole in the middle seals up.
This means I can put them near the bulkhead and this will aid quick removal of the engine as a whole unit with no need for rags when you disconnect the fuel lines.

also you can split the lines while engines hot if you needed to do a quick engine change at the track for example, ;)

Well there were some issues with where it was being stored. They needed all storage moved as they were selling up and as I didnt pop round every day people didnt know who to contact to come round and collect it, so i had my heart in my mouth wondering when i couldnt gain access that my mini was gone. Needless to say its all sorted now but now there are problems with wheel bearings as the ones order are too big!
Hey ho, these obstacles will be overcome

No real updates as such, although I do keep buying stuff for it - wing mirrors, big inlet manifold but things are just progressing really slowly at the moment.
However I am expecting things to pick up soon and will keep people posted.
Hopefully it will be ready for Mini in the Park this year, as to what 1/4 mile times it does, I have no idea! But it might post some interesting times
