I think I've made my mind up on the nice Audi pearly white colour that they do, although if it costs mega I think it will be just getting painted white!

hi m8 coming along nicely, one question are you going to SVA/IVA this monster, cause ive been told that the filler cap for the fuel needs to be outside the car now with a key lock on it.

I only no this cause i was going to use the same sort of tank, and my uncle told me about what the SAV man said when he did his.

Might just be something to look into.

Cheers for the info peaty, yeah it will all have to get looked at when it comes to the IVA, the plan was to still fill it from the rear screen just with a connecting tube, so hopefully put a locking lush filler cap on and jobs sorted. However the comment made, was that it might obscure rear vision, to which I suitably replied, I think I will be more concerned with how quickly objects start appearing infront of me!
Ashbogg, I too will think I might need some clean underwear as I can't even estimate how quick it will be. Time will tell I suppose.

No real significant updates to report, although I have got a couple of items, namely more wheels, tyres and a race battery
Wheels are smiths (weller type) 5.5*13 and the tyres are Colway Formula 2, which were so cheap it would have rude not too.
So now I have my 'normal' wheels this should make the stance of the car significantly more like a mini, due to the width of the wheel and a better offset.
Once I get the car back, ill swap the wheels over and get some photos up, then I can see about getting some arches to cover both wheel types.

The battery is stupidly small and quite light but it should do the job!!

I think I have all the major things now, with the exception of a paddle clutch and a lightened flywheel, im just waiting on my car to check if one isnt already in the gearbox.

Kmol in the style of Jezza Clarkson "This car will be epic"......!

Just spent the last 2 hours reading the thread from the start.

Looking forward to future updates and the prospect of some on the road videos.

Awesome stuff.

Look what arrived in the post today.... a nice billet flywheel..

Posted Image

A standard 4wd flywheel weighs in at a hefty 11.6 kg, this one weights a little over 4kg! Hopefully it will add less stress to the transmission and let the engine rev quicker and easier!

Still no car at the moment which I am severely knarked off with but hopefully things will come through eventually.

Well hello people, i know its been abit lacking in the updates, but not much has happened, apart from abit of a dicey situation regarding my car and the legal ownership of it! (anyhow)

more goodies have been arriving although i am still waiting on the mini to return! a 6 weeks job has turned into hhmmmmmm 8months and counting! lol

Posted Image

Anyhow I now have a paddle clutch for the power but it does look abit ropey.... what do all you guys think?? Do I get it refurbed?
Oh and some quick release fuel connectors finally arrived from the States (and yes i know they are pretty pointless, but ebay got the better of me)
Once i get 'LMCK' back i will post some pictures but the seats are mounted, front end has been cleaned up the rear is just being finished.
Oh and the propshaft has been sent back as it didnt originally fit!
