Ashbogg, I too will think I might need some clean underwear as I can't even estimate how quick it will be. Time will tell I suppose.

Wheels are smiths (weller type) 5.5*13 and the tyres are Colway Formula 2, which were so cheap it would have rude not too.
So now I have my 'normal' wheels this should make the stance of the car significantly more like a mini, due to the width of the wheel and a better offset.
Once I get the car back, ill swap the wheels over and get some photos up, then I can see about getting some arches to cover both wheel types.
The battery is stupidly small and quite light but it should do the job!!
I think I have all the major things now, with the exception of a paddle clutch and a lightened flywheel, im just waiting on my car to check if one isnt already in the gearbox.

Just spent the last 2 hours reading the thread from the start.
Looking forward to future updates and the prospect of some on the road videos.
Awesome stuff.

A standard 4wd flywheel weighs in at a hefty 11.6 kg, this one weights a little over 4kg! Hopefully it will add less stress to the transmission and let the engine rev quicker and easier!
Still no car at the moment which I am severely knarked off with but hopefully things will come through eventually.

more goodies have been arriving although i am still waiting on the mini to return! a 6 weeks job has turned into hhmmmmmm 8months and counting! lol
Anyhow I now have a paddle clutch for the power but it does look abit ropey.... what do all you guys think?? Do I get it refurbed?
Oh and some quick release fuel connectors finally arrived from the States (and yes i know they are pretty pointless, but ebay got the better of me)
Once i get 'LMCK' back i will post some pictures but the seats are mounted, front end has been cleaned up the rear is just being finished.
Oh and the propshaft has been sent back as it didnt originally fit!
