Yeah im going to sell my golf and use this as my daily ride! :) I think I would get an ASBO within a week from all my neighbours complaints if i drove this daily! lol

It was/is designed for track use, (no heater, sound deadening with perspex etc), im just going to have some fun in it, but once I get some experience I might look into championships but I don't have the first clue about the classes and whether I would even be eligible! Its something to look at later when I get the car on the road.

Oh and about driving it on the road, hopefully it will be, one day, insured, tax and MOT'd but its a long way off.

Crazirob: well I'm sure I will be taking it to the pod at some stage!

As for the clicky link, I've seen what he's been doing as I am a member of passionford aswell, although I kinda got slated as I did cut up a cossy! But it's interesting never the less. His project is going 2wd and while might be more fun I think the 4wd is going to be safer, if a 360bhp mini could ever 'be safe'! Lol

The front has been extended by 80mm & those arches are 6.5", the body kit hides it well, my full build diary is here:

The pedal box is in, steering is in, the front strut supports are in and fibreglass-ing the bonnet is taking shape. Its coming along nicely and the seating position isnt too bad at all. Whoop whoop!
Lets just hope the intercooler and radiator fit!

Been down today to have a look about and things are moving forward...

Pedal box is in but still needs finishing..

Steering is the same...

Although I think to get in and out a quick release wheel is a necessity.. thats more to add to the shopping list.

The bonnet is being addressed at the moment.. although things are going to be mighty tight under the hood!

No real major updates, just the front end bonnet getting sorted along with the harness mounts and prop shaft machining. After that all the metal needs treating and it all seam sealed.
