The Mini Limo and the Mini Hot Rod shown above are both at Longbridge, Nanjing bought them with the MG Rover assets.

Nobody ever said it was a stretched limo. Limousine just means luxury saloon.

I've been trying to find detailed photos of that car for years, I've asked that same question here before. It seems that few photos exist in the public domain. This car was only ever out in public at three or four motor shows and a few press days, it's barely seen the light of day. I have some colour pictures but they are essentially just the shots shown above. I went to the London Motor Show the year this car was displayed but they only had either the Hot-Rod or the Limo out on any given day and not both at the same time. When I went the Hot-Rod was on the stand. JCG did actually build another limo for themselves a couple of years later and it was on their stand at Mini@40, that car I have a few more photos of as I saw it in person but still nothing of real detail. I think that second limo is called HI 5UN, it's dark blue with the same Recarro seats and silk headlining and all that jaz.

The spec of the Limo is so dated now, Mini-disc changer! Philips Carion Sat-Nav, remember those? A seperate sat-nav system that had a computer and CD-Rom drive in the boot, desirable at the time but a serious installation and a lot of money. Less powerful and less accurate than a Tom-Tom by far because at that point the GPS satellites were still tightly limited for public use, far more so than they are now.

I have some photos of it that I took at Longbridge last month, but I can't post them at the moment. Remind me in about three weeks and I'll do it then.
