Hi all, just thought I would run by you what I am thinking of doing
Engine:-
1275 A+ block (might rebored to 1293)
Kent 276 Cam
swifttune duplex timing chain and gears
Stage 2 or 3 cylinder head
Twin 1.5" SU's
Maniflow LCB and exhurst (Unsure yet on type, fancing the megafone version)
Nitrocarbonised, Turfrided crank
Lighten'd flywheel (11lb)
Turbo cluch
standerd box
4 pin diff
Sump Ghaerd
3.4 final drive...
Body/other:-
smooth over and respray
polish up
rear roll bar polished up (for looks)
Panel out the back bay with ali tread plate
10" 6x10 deep dish/reverse rims alloys
Gaz shocks with hi-los
Group 2 arches
Interiour:-
Black letherette bucket seats
Sports steering wheel
Black gloss and ali dash
Following design on the centre consol and arm rest
Full sound system
white diels
Black plush carpet
tinted rear window
enlarged pedels
quickshft gearlever
what do you guys think?
Would the componats above work well?

Sounds like an engine that would work well, don't really know enough about engines yet to say what sort of characteristics the engine would have (torquey/revvy).
One question: What are you doing about braking?

I am going for cooper 's' disks with 4 pot calapers, and a remote servo for the fronts, and minifin drums for the back...
