May have a solution on that front. Have messured my 12" setup and the scrub radius is allful to start with !!!! The knig pin centre line dosen't even intersect the tyre patch. SO no wonder fitting wider wheels must make the Skrub Radius even worse, and the steering must be even stiffer.
So drastic measures are called for ..... I have been looking at the Seven Comunity, and the newer Westfield/Chaterham front suspension. Have not made my mind up yet, but would still keep the 13" rims and Tyres etc.
No turning back now !!!!

On another note, seeing as the car seems to be heading to a spaceframe covered in a mini shell, I was looking at how much I could lower the body onto the suspension. The front valence is 6.5 Inches of the floor, I will need at least 4 inches to clear all our road humps etc, so it seem possable to remove the original floor and literaly skim about 3" of the floor level with slight remodeling of the front and rear valence.
So the project gets deeper, but more interesting.

A Mate came round today and helped me strip the interia out today, engine also ready to be dropped out now. Have found a suplier of T45 tubing not to far from me so am going up there next week to get my first lot.

This is the start of the frame that will be used to build the car on. I need a totaly flat surface to make sure the Space frame is all square. Will be going to B&Q tomorrow to get some thick section wood to cover it.
