I did sell most of the parts I had, before leaving the UK and building a new home here in Calgary. I've been busy building a New 1100sqft Work shop (Toy Room as my wife calls it), and getting on with my Midengine Replacement for my old Ultima.
But funny thing is I still have an itch I cant scratch for a Fast mini......
The roads here are well lets say not as interesting as back in the UK, so building a Busa mini for all these straight roads is not as appealing, and the winters here are very snowy and cold, so I would have to park it up for 6 months of the year....
But after seeing the Minitec Usa web sight I have the itch for doing another mini project again, but this time a B18C Vtec Type R 4WD version...
That makes lots of sense now, I can drive it all year round, fit winter tires for the snow (and a better heater) should do 30mpg and still have 200bhp..
then there's always the chance to fit forced induction and get 300bhp + if I want later on....
So push come to shove I'm going to look at a 1970 rolling mini shell on saturday.... Whats this space.....

Making it to complex and trying to save every Kilo of wieght kind of slowed the project down, and I'm mindfull that I need to get this one done faster so not to be as fussy..... But then again I tend to be that way so you never know...

Was a real heart ache to sell of the Busa project, but probably best to stay in the Uk...
