As much as it pains me to say I actually agree with Jammy.... :fear:

I think because of the radical nature of your project a token gesture of mini-ish wheels won't really add much to the mini look...... just go all out and it should look stunning!! :saywhat: :grin:

i recon th newer ones as thery would compliment you dtm style, as their split rims why not get the centres powder-coted or sprayed in black for the agressive look or body colour for style, but thats just my thoughts, awsome project buy the way

i'd go black or dark grey anthracite? spelling
and get a pin stripe round the rim in the rinal colour of the car lots of bike are doing this and it looks trick when they are moving

The centres If i buy them from Image will be cast, so will be better to paint / powered coat as you say. What colour now that's another thing

What I thought was maybe even having the rims anoidised Black.. What do you recon.....

colour is down to you, seems as there cast powder coating would be better, i was told a few years ago that if you customise a vehicle it is best to go for two colours, one main colour and a detailing colour, i reckon that bright candy red (as you said earlier in your post) for the main colour and then detailing in dark graphite grey metalik would look AWESOME!!!! but thats just my opinion

But in this case I would go for the lightest of the two,
it's all about unsprung/rotating mass

And there is a good range of powdercoating colours now...
