Well that's what it looks like now. Will need alot more of a wheel arch to cover the front tyres......

I love things that are light.......... the cnc machining on the Hubs is lovely, and it's already anodized. Wieghed them they are 3.8kgs with the rose joints etc. The original steel ford items with ball joints are over 6.6 kgs... So thats another wieght saving of over 5 kgs, and it's off the unsprung wieght which is even better.

A nice billet Electric water pump, 20gpm under 1bar of presure, should keep the old girl cool in traffic.....

sorry for going off topic but.....
i bought a mini on wednesday for £50 and it had been sat there for 2 years according to the owner
early disevening, me and my dad had a good look at it and we got it running but it needs a good examination
ill make new thread for it
also came with spares but not sure what exactly but another engine is there (the origional)

back on topic,
what do you reckon you have spent so far on this project and what is it going to cost to complete it roughly because i am nosey :saywhat:

So far about 10K needs at least another 5-6K that I can think of...... about the same as a good Cobra build.... But lighter and hopfully more fun..

This is the new front end. Well the before shot anyway, as I will have to graft on some rather large wheel arch extensions. The top of the wheel arches are the same hieght as the top of the wings, so they will blend in to the wing just, without having to go higher......

If you look at the middle pencil line that is the diameter of the wheel and tyre. So I will need at least 2" ontop of that for wheel arch clearance...

Also bought a Single skin boot lid while I was picking up the front clip.... Still not sure what I want to do with the rear yet....
