the Tu24 was the rallye engine for the S1 1.3 8v, and the Tu5 was the S2 1.6 16v

The uk s2 rallye was only a 1.6 8v was a 16v version in other countrys tho

Is that the one at Stoneleigh? Myself and Pete are going to see if we can pick up any bits for our minis aswell. Highest on the list is dials...

As for are they worth the money. You'll probably find by the time you've build one you've spent about 10-12k and by the time you factor in the man hours usually worth quite a bit. But like anything it'll depend on the finish etc etc

The Place is called Marawise Coatings in Coventry, they blasted the body and painted it with a coat of Red Oxide for £100.... Cash of course....

It's a fair old hike but at £100 that's a bargain, I wouldn't of thought I could get it done locally for anything less than £300 so definately worth it.

Has it distorted the metal work at all, was it shot or something less severe

How is your project coming on, I was at Stoneleigh did you see the ZCars spaceframed mini, pretty good I'm seriously interested

Not to sure what the medium was but it got all the unwanted rust off, and I can cut back to what I know is good metal. And that Z Cars space frame was just lovly...

Found a man with some nice Seat Moulds, they are very similar to my Ultima. So I had some made with Carbon/Kevlar weave showing on the back. God these are light........ HHUUUMMMM Carbon.....
