No better than that, I could use the Motec to control the up shifts on a Rev limiter, making it a Semi Auto for the speed tests......... Set Launch control hit the right pedal drop the clutch and let the ecu do the rest...... 0 to 100 in 7 Sec......

i see in an earlier post you say you are building the car for mostly circuit racing.

you may have a lot of trouble getting it past scrutineering with a home made roll cage fitted, as you have to have proof of how strong it is and that its up to spec.

i only mentioned it because the chap who built that very nice morris minor with the fiat twin cam engine in and the carbon body work, had a bit of trouble getting his rollcage tested without it costing thousands.

check out his website, there might be a bit of info on there, or you could try e-mailing him.

The only Semi surouis racing that will be involved will be at The Pod etc...
The only time it will be going on track will be on test / track days for fun... and for those you could take that mini powered sofa.....

Cheers for the warning anyway..

Went to the Auto Sports International Show at the NEC.
Met the man behind all those Turbo Busa Motors, Jack Frost of Holeshot Racing.
Have spoke to him via email but it's always nice to put a face to the name.

Good news was that he can modify my fuel rail to fitt the larger Injectors I need to make the 450 ish bhp, he will also make me a Pressurized Air box without the second set of injectors that he normaly fitts.
The Motec M4 will only control 4 injectors sequentialy, so I could not use the normal 8 injector system Holeshot sell. He also said I had to fitt the larger 12mm head studs, as the standard 10mm are only good for 300bhp.

So things are still going, plans a foot.......

Sounds good.

I'm hoping to have my own bike powered mini project underway here soon.
I'm quite interested in your build.

While I was buying some Electrical stuff for another project ( which seems to be taking all my time at present ), I found some fuse and relay holders which clip to gether. So have bought a 16 way fuse holder a 7 way Micro relay holder and a 4 way normal relay holder. When clipped together they form a nice 5" square box.
So feel that at least I still buying parts for the old girl....

Was going to buy a Electrical Loom for a Locost 7 and just add what I needed. But after playing with this other loom, and now after have found the correct coded wiring system and a place to get all the different coloured wires etc ( Which you can buy by the Meter ) I will make the Loom myself.

Here's the a link to the Lucas system of colour coding

Here's a company that can supply nearly all your elec stuff for a car

Took trailing arms to a welder friend of mine, and had them Tig welded. Retapped the threads as the heat formed a crust after the welding. Another job done....
