The top of the tunnel is now done, have not finished the ends yet as need to do other bits first, to determine where they will finish.

Also have done some more work on the rear, mocked up where the De Dion axle will sit and worked out where I need to have a chassis rail behind it to attach the Pan Hard Rod.

The other side does not need to be behind the Axle, so has a top rail matching the angle of the other side but is shorter, so the bottom link is completely different to the other side.

Oh yes I finaly chose which differential I wanted. It's a Powertec Unit made by Quaife for the Radical SR4. It has a QuaifeATB Diff in it and has a Reverse gear inside it which you operate with a cable. So that's 6 Forward gears and 6 Reverse as well... Should be interesteing.... Will try and find a Picture.

Mine is a starter motor that engages onto a large cog on the drive shaft, Will be pretty cheap to replicate.

Yes just have to get the wife to part with her wedding ring so I can melt it down. Now where did I leave that furnis ?

Lifted off the body today and have the chassis just on the floor now. I needed to weld in all the places that I could not get to when the body was on, Turning the chassis on it's side etc. to make welding easyer.

Have sourted out the rear disc's now. They are Toyota Corola which is the same 100 pcd that I need. Also have modified the Ford drive flanges to fitt the smaller stud patern and the smaller spigot diameter. They all fit together nicely, also modified the disc's as they where 22mm Vented for the front of the Toyota, but as I am fitting them on the rear with 4x4 Cossy calipers they need to be 20mm wide, and only has a pad hieght of 35mm. They was 50mm of radial disc area so machined 15mm of the inside of the disc's (to lighten it. Why carry extra wieght) and narrowed the disc by 1mm per side. So now fitts the Calipers as well.
