thats rae davis with the mk1 mini marcos,he's pushing out 143bhp out of a 1293! check out his web site, he's got a brilliant account of his giant killing drive at the goodwood revival meeting, apparently the crowd gave him a standing ovation!

Not many mini owners can say they raced at Le Mans, great to see but a little Dawfed by the oposition. The Mulsanne Straight must seem alittle lonely.....

Any way progress today after work, have now got the lower rails up front, and the cross bracing, the lower rails are postioned so the Lower wishbone sitts just above them, the Wishbone being 320mm length etc. Now have the rack dummyed up and looks like I can get a Petrol tank size of at least 10 Gallon no probs. The Z cars tank having to fit inside the original subframe is only 6, and at about 15 to the gallon that's not much for me.

one of the mini marcos that raced at leMans got up to 141mph down the mulsanne straight, imagine doing that speed in a piece of plastic!
i went with the owners club to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the mini marcos at leMans in 1991, had a great time, and got to drive around most of the circuit.

Lucky I said I wanted the larger of the 3 that British Rail supplied, not that Medium sized (3 Foot dia.) the 4 foot version. Do they have a Manifold that fitts a Busa, and what RPM would bring on full boost ?
