Don't worry have enough by selling the other Engines to fund rest of project. Allready have interest for 1 Engine, so no holding me back now.

When I took the mould off the roof, I found some reaction had taken place. So I needed to do a Small repair with filler. That's now done, so I'm ready do start making the final Item a Carbon Roof. (carbon arrived while I was away.)

So Mould finished, it's time to take the rest of the shell to be shot blasted. Got a few looks when I was taking it there......

What's left of it looks quite solid tho.
Although, my rust bucket has prompted me to learn to weld.
ALways good to add another string to your bow.

After reading through this project. my turbo conversion seems a little smalltime.

i can only dream of doing that to my cluby.

Are you going to have the weave showing on the roof or will you spray over it?

Hay I just another Joe Mate, don't let my project put you off doing anything to Mini. I started Moding cars 18 Years ago, so I've sortof worked me way up to this. I remember making bits for My 2.1 Capri, and it only seems like yesterday. Even the smallest of mods have somtimes given me the most pleasure, so you keep playing mate it's all I doing... Lifes to short and all that.....

On the Weave front. Yes to the inside, but the outside might look alittle silly, as I am going to fill the edges over, so would have to paint over them at least. I've sortof feel in Love with Candy Apple Red....

The Ult's a Mate of Mines It needs a few small mods doing to it. So I've got the use of it for a While. I'll be at Super Car Sunday this weekend If you want a Closer Look, 510BHP and we've had it above 200 on the clock (of course in a controled condition area) :fear: :smartass: .

Well I'm pretty sure my 1400 clio does 250mph especially with the body kit and big wheels. I think the guy in halfords told me that adds 140mph to top speed.
