Seeing as the hard work is done, does anyone else want a FG roof for a 2" roof chopped car ?

Mould now finished with Paper rope reinforceing. Just have to know stair at it for a Week. See if it moves....

on the wheels front, have you looked at speedline? they do similar designs to what you wanted originally in white too.

lighter than most other alloys too.

I have done a 2" roof chop, but want to make a composite roof skin. The roof was modded and filled to the correct shape now I'm making a mould of it.

This thread is about the whole project, the roof being only 1 stage. It's going to be a Hayabusa Turbo midengined car. Hope that simplies it for you.

Good news the mould came off OK. I'm more than pleased as my last attempt to make a mould stuck together and was ruinned. But the only thing I need to do is strengthen it, as it does twist very easy, so will have to put some Wood supports on it. But it's a good surface so I am very pleased. Will now leave it on the roof while me and the misses go to Le Mans, It's my first time so I'm looking forward to it.. See you when I get back....
