Well, i have a 91 city that the previous owner fitted some 12" superlights (i think) that are really too wide and chunky for the standard black arches imo and stick out about an inch from either side, which i dont really like the look of, so im wondering what theyd look like with sportspacks on them? Any pics? Im thinking theyd probably just look lost especially since the car isnt lowered but would appreciate any pics...

I'd be interested too.

I like the look of sportspack arches, but want the better drive ability of 12" wheels.

Not my car but took these pictures at a show last year. Pretty sure these are 12" deep dish alloys:-

This might have additional wheel spacers as well - 12x6's don't normally fill SP arches this well. On the back that would probably mean drums with spacers built in and then additional 3/4 inch spacers on top!!

Cheers

Anybody know how I remove that third picture - it's 1.4 MB. Didn't mean to upload that one but can't see it if I do a "edit post" !!

Here's mine. There 12x6 with no spacers just the built spacers in the drums on the rear, they filled the arch ok. I've changed to 13" now though.

Aah those pics are great thanks a lot!! I dunno about the arches though, the ones in the last pic look ok but, i dunno, just something doesnt look quite right about them somehow in the pic of the show car, i suppose they look a hell of a lot better than the black ones though...

Mm. Ill have to have a wee think about it, measure the wheels up as i dont know what mine are but if theyre 12x6s ill probably go for it someday... Rambling again :) any more pics would be greatly appreciated though!

I hate the arches. The previous owner put them on, they're a bad fit, and it's over-arched. I would change them but that involves filling the holes and painting over. Unless it's not as big a job as I think!

12x6 starmags

They are a bit tasty actually :( id have to see how wide they were compared to me wheels because theyre brand new and my tyres are much much chunkier than Roo's as well (wish id bought it on steelies now ) unless of course anybody has some starmags with low profile tyres theyd want to swap for a set of basically new Minilites??

Ouster that does look awful (no offence :)) but if you got wider wheels it might be a bit more in proportion?
