My first car was an R reg Mini 1000.  I always thought it was a Mk.III but it had single bolts for the front subframe. Plus it did not have the Mk.IV reversing lights.

 

Was i wrong?

Single bolt rubber mounted subframe = mk4

Did the taillights with reversing lamps come in much later ?

The tail light change was model dependent and I think it might have been a year or two later than 76. Probably mini 1100 special and 1275 gt had them first. My friends 1984 10" wheeled mini city e still didn't have reverse lights.
