I mounted the front clubby clip back on last night and today i did some cutting on the wheel openings

 

i want to re-paint the bumper, i did it a long time ago and its kind of dusty now and the black faded a small amount

i mounted the arches alittle high on the clip, but theirs a plan for that.....

painted the valve cover, and while I had the cover off, I checked the valves, I pulled half of the Honda harness from the car,

 

I have a rywire D series harness and chassis adapter harness in the mail right now

the harness has made its way from California and just left Chicago last night at 10:40pm

 

i'll probably have it by Tuesday/Wednesday

 

so that gives me a few days to install it and im going to try and get it on the dyno at http://www.tdi-plc.com/ on Saturday the 26th

and MOT the 2nd

so I can try and make it to IMM with the car

 

if I cant do it, then I want to bring it to mitp

ive been working on the tune on the car,

 

been driving it on the road and datalog it and then make changing in the tune

 

its almost ready for mot for real this time

 

 

thanks, everytime I walk into the mini shop, I see this car, I just cant wait to get behind the wheel and drive

Been battling a brake fluid leak at the front left caliper, it's so small of a leak, but if I run my hand on the fitting, i can feel alittle bit of brake fluid, so I replaced the fitting and made the leak like ten times worst, so I'm changing the fitting again and this time I think I should be good

Picked up a few bottles of brake fluid, so I will bleed this thing out in the front again, it's a pain in the rear but I want it 100% right before I take the car for mot
But the nice thing about it is my master cylinders use two for the brakes

im rebuilding the exhaust again for the like3rd or 4th time now, I forget

 

but I don't care if it takes me 10 times, if im not happy with it, I will re-do it until I am happy

 

I made the y-pipe tuck closer to the oil pan, and then the connector pipe of the y tuck even closer

 

so since I did that, I have to re-do the rest of the exhaust because it now hits the shifter rods

 

one thing effects the other

 

the outlet out of the y-pipe is 2.5inches

wow, so much has gone on since I last posted anything

 

the car was shipped out of the UK in Dec 2014

the car was taking apart and a rolling shell was shipped from Southampton to Port Hueneme, California

and then it was towed to San Diego California, and then towed to Yuma AZ

and then towed to Tucson AZ

 

 

the night it left on the tow truck to the Southampton
