If anyone wants it, it's up for grabs for under £2000 with a long MOT =)
Sorry my Dad didn't get any decent pics of the near finished item

Hardly anything done lately, trying to get my other mini ready to sell. I've done all the repairs to it's door frame and skinned it, half way through getting it painted.

The one for sale guywithvan, I bought it from someone living on the south coast. I've been driving it around Surrey for about a year.

I've just sold my other mini, so with the cash in hand I can start buying parts again. Looking back over this project I realised I should have spent more time on the car, I didn't have a job for about 6 months! I guess the money issues slowed the pace.
Here's the mini I've just sold

I was never really very attached to that one, so now to get back to my baby

Having started riding bikes in May, I'm quite tempted to go for a bike engine conversion at some point - it just seems like such a fitting idea

Meanwhile I needed to sort out these cheap brackets I bought, they didn't line up for jip!
Mocked up

Hmm not too bad

EEEeeeekkk!

Job's a good'un

Stripped it all off again as I need to put some more paint on the subframe as you can see the rust from it being sat there a year ^^
Any advice on getting the rubber cones off the trumpets?? Want to fit hi-los that I've ordered but I really didn't want to buy new rubber cones too.
Thanks

The closing panel under each end of the scuttle was pretty much gone, but minimal repairs are required on the scuttle! Nothing really interesting but:

choppy choppy! I'm quite proud of how close I went to the A panel with my angle grinder haha - bit careless though.

same on the other side

before

after lol

night night mini

edit: sorry go the images jumbled up, sorted!

I wanted to keep the a-panels on but I may need to re-think this!

More daylight:

More trouble - all the studs sheered off on the hinges. Obvious fix is new hinges but how am I going to keep the rain out!

Weather is getting more dubious by the minute, can't leave the moke out in it

Andy I'm not sure what to do about the hinge panel, I might repair it in situ if I can! Still stripping off the flitch panel it's a pain in the arse. The other side will be much much quicker now I know how it's put together.
Back out to the mini...
