As you say, it's not going to be completed, will still look tatty! Any idea if I have to paint the front to get it through an MOT? So it matches their records I mean

I've got the master cylinder with the integral failure switch, which I've just sheared off. I hate plastic
Luckily looks like they're available on minispares, also found some valuable intel on there as it looks like my car might have metric unions I'll need to change... yawn! (master cylinder isn't off this car >.<)
Just have to get the stump of the switch back out now, and hope to God I can because otherwise there's £100 down the drain from buying a new one.

new/recon master cylinder it is! Probably for the best because I can get the right one now. But still wasted a night! Having said that I'm now confident on how it's done lol.

Made my own bracket here because I have no idea what I took off it years ago
Busy weekend! Thanks to my Dad for helping sort a few electrical gremlins (crap fuse holders etc). Also for fabricating the bracket on my fog light

I do have another problem though, the offset on these wheels makes them too wide for the arches, and scrubs on the front on full lock. I need a new set of wheels!
I can probs sell these revos on ebay no problem, but I don't know what to market them as - right stud pattern but not really suitable for a mini without body mods.
Meanwhile, does anyone local to egham want to lend me their mini's wheels for my MOT? I'll give them back after! =)

Bits I forgot to mention - I've welded in closing panels under the ends of the scuttle, cut the arches but found I need to weld a tab onto the a panel to secure them properly. Bought some new wheels, slotmags I found in the classifieds on here - they need new tyres but should get through an MOT, and they don't scrub like the revos.
First thing to do tomorrow (when I get back from hythe performance) is to rip the front floors out and weld some repair panels in, hopefully I won't come up against to many issues as I also need to secure the washer bottle, finish the arches and adjust the lights before an MOT this coming week!
All systems go

The floors are now welded up but it aint pretty! My Dad has been really helpful this weekend, he's fixed on the number plate, plumbed in the washer jets and fitted the washer bottle to the wheel arch. Going to try and get an MOT slot on Wednesday, tomorrow night I'm going to get some sealer and paint on bits, give it a clean, fit the wheel arches. Then as the house is getting cleared out I've got to pack up shop and hope it passes!! Fingers crossed.
Only pics I have are of the bracket Dad made, will try remember tomorrow night to get some of the floor etc.
Still got nowhere to put the car, so if anyone has anywhere near twickenham to store it or wants to buy this off me let me know =p

Tester had never seen anything like it, and really liked the front end!
