Hi Mate, thanks for stopping by! Unfortunately, no progress what so ever.

I've had my fibreglass front and wheels in my bedroom all winter lol, and the car has been under a tarp.

The weekends are warming up again now so I really should get a move on, I'll make sure to document any progress!

Definitely a plus =p

It's freezing today, plus I spent all morning on a wild goose chase with estate agents =/ Perhaps tomorrow I can get somethin done.

So I've got a deposit down on a flat now so money will be tight going forward, plus I've got no allocated parking.

The future of the mini is a bit undecided, as is the motorbike's =/ I want to keep them both but I need somewhere to put them! Mate of mine doesn't mind the bike in his garden but the car is too much ^^

Whatever happens I need this little beast running by the time I move (April 2nd) if it's going to be any use to anyone. I'm sure I could convince my Dad to look after it if he can actually use it lol =p

Been ill this weekend, but next is fairly free and I'm feeling better so I'm hoping to get stuck in - hopefully this thread will be looking more like a project again rather than a blog >_<

The subframe off a metro seat proved handy, chopping it up and moving a hole gave me enough for one seat. I then replicated this for the other side (the shiny one). Rails on the seat are really short so im going to make a load spreading frame at the back at some point.

Good work! If you have trouble with pets sitting on the bonnet I think you have a viable ejection mechanism there. The thought comes to mind as I have paw prints all over my car right now. Owen.
