Ive been told that if you heat the floor underneath then it comes off in big lumps
Just enough heat to melt the bit stuck to the floor.

But otherwise just hammer and chisel

some people say use a heat gun, but i found this way more time consuming, just use a hammer and chisel and leave the heat gun for the hard bits!

Nice calipers Mark. Been tempted myself, but I don't know whether they'd be a direct replacement for my metro 4 pots. Any idea of what would be involved?

Cheers!

I spoke to KAD direct a couple of days before i bid on them and they are a direct replacement for metro turbo, they even take metro pads and discs!!
I think they areabout £400 ish new

Im still chipping away at the sound deadening stuff, plus im collecting another mini from a guy in work who wants it off his drive, but i need wiring loom, steering column and stlks plus other bits and bobs as the MPI cooper stuff is far too advanced for what i need...........

Cheers Mark :wales:

Hiya Mark, I think I have a spare steering column with indicator stalks etc, but I will have to check. I also have a Innocenti wiring loom (from a '79) that you could butcher to make it suit.

Matt

P.S. if you want them, I is only about 10 miles down the road.
