OMG im in love with your car lol. Just read this thread from start to end...has probably taken me 3 hours or something silly lol...I have an exma tomorrow aswell, but who care's I dont want to go to university next year anymore, think I'll spend the money on building one of these instead Seriously though its beautiful lol, love the colour choice. Sorry bungle, i was getting carried away!! Didnt fancy upsetting the Mods and getting a ban as this is a family site after all and my 7yr old was takin an interest aswell.

Anyway a bit of progress...............

I have planned for a while to fit an airbox induction system to make it a bit quieter and have now completed the fabrication and install.







I have eventually fitted the switch for the electric reverse which by the way cuts my engine out aswell!!



I have now fitted a different set of CV boots which look like they will do the job, hopefully they will be ok as im doing the Wirral-Llandudno mini run on SundayCLICKY LINK It should be a good test for it anyway.
Next on the list is the front brake upgrade, Finish the top half of the bulkhead and have the exhaust fitted by Simpsons.

Thanks for the email Mark but I already had the mag . Just didn't want to post anything for fear of you getting big headed . Have to say though it looks awesome and can't wait to see it at Bingley. Got to be the best one yet.

Hi Mark. Airbox looks the danglies. Are you planning any dyno time to remap the ecu to suit? It's not the same obviously, but the R1 is very sensitive to airbox/exhaust mods.
