Why did you put it across the back? Is it to get the car lower or because you dont like it going through the valence?

Yeah i will just get my 9" grinder and hack the rear valance out!!

It will have the tailpipe exiting out of the standard posistion.

i think that looks great. ive not got the rear chassis in yet......... is there any room for side exit just infront of the wheel? or is the mount beam in the way?

I think you would struggle tp mount it in front of thr wheel unless you put it above the frame and cut a hole in the bodywork below your vent/duct??

I think you are getting a bit involved now, just hang the can out of the bootlid at the top, i have a pic somewhere in my previous pages of the first white z-cars mini, always looks cool??

hmmm thats dont seem normal, alot of rusting considering its only on a P reg plate??
My 1979 was rust there but not that bad. Think the weal must have a been a bit iffy??

Looking forward to see the end result with this one:)

The later minis, around P reg onwards seem to be terrible for rusting around the front windscreen seal. I dont know why this is, i have never seen an older mini rusting here.

apparently from around 97 onwards rover started using cheaper metals and due to cappillary suction the water stays trapped behind the window rubber and then rots the panels, when i removed my screen from my 98 it is rusting like that aswell so dont be too alarmed it is common.
