Hi,

When we checked our local MOT guy would allow perspex windows except for the front screen, this had to be ' as standard '.

All front facing glass fitted since 1980ish has to be laminated. So no you can't fit perspex and still have it road legal.

Hi Mark,

Do you have any pics / sketches of the window scoops and how you plan to use with the ram air box? I was planning on doing something similar, but can't decide on NACA ducts or scoops or other. Also, I'd love to get away without using hoses to feed the box...

Would love to see your plan in pictures / drawings...

Thanks, :D

Monte, I had looked at an intake from the floor area but decided that it wasnt worth risking any debris/water into the intake so the firm in the link above do different types of scoops/ducts and i am still waiting on there suggestions but whatever they come up with, it will be fed by hoses into the airbox :D :D

I will contact them again today as they were gonna send me some pics via e-mail which i will forward on or post on here for you???

Let us know what else you find

PMMA???? Im catching up with the abbreviations but that is a new one!!!!! :nugget:

Eddyg: You must have loads of time to spare reading all this...  Thanks for the comments, But i am planning on blasting and painting the shell when it has been assembled and all the fiddly bit's have been fabricated etc then strip it to a bare shell ready. so the summer is a bit more realistic.

I may have to have a rethink on the arches as i have been in touch with a MOT station today and the wheel/tyre needs to be completely covered to comply with the MOT/PLOD etc so carbon miglias may be on order yet?

Thanks Mark :wales:
