To formalise things, I have set up the tap as available to buy through my website. At the moment it's requesting a £10 non-refundable deposit, payable through paypal ( or Credit/Debit card if you so wish ). Your details will then be captured and when they are available you will be contacted for the remaining £37-50 payment and a shipping address.

Would any of you guys be interested in Whitworth high tensile bolts to go with the above taps ?

I would roll form NOT cut the thread this gives superior strength and heat treat to suit in either Hex allen head or std hex (6 sided) head.

Prices to be confirmed, however if there is interest from trade or retail...... :ermm:

Thanks Guessworks for allowing me to add this post

I would be interested in something like a rolled thread in HT BUT id like both ends ...... and the pully end will need to be longer than standard due to injection crank sensor being moved..... A big ask I know but the way injection cars are being moded a lot of people are using the extended pullys on the timing cover end..... kinda messes up the market wrt standard size bolts

Not really, you give me the size and I'll make the batch to suit, even if its slightly (0.010") longer shorter whatever, as the bolts would be similar I simply adjust the length and run off another 50, 100, etc.........

Another point, I would obviously make the head to suit either A+ or pre A+ flywheel styles.

Sounds good, isn't the original pulley bolt shouldered? You could use a washer as packing to adjust for timing wheels. Business lead - Trigger-wheels have just introduced a bolt on wheel for the A Series - without a bolt. Socket head is good - easier to get a hex bit in than a huge socket if the engine's in the car.

Compact discs make great timing discs 'n have about a 15mm hole.
