I'd be willing to get my mini-moo out in my mini

Although I have no idea what i would use to cover my naughty parts, maybe a warning triangle!

Won't it clash with your pink hair, or do you not have matching collars & cuffs?

Thanks Ellie!

I don't have pink hair anymore *cries*, apparently I'm more unemployable with pink hair, sad times, but I'm always looking for excuses to get it back! (And matching collar and cuffs, that vision is just wierd!)
Thanks for putting me down Miss JuJu
Sounds exciting

Do we have reserves? Or do we sign everyone up and pick names? Or is it first come first serve?
Oooh, I dunno!! Do we alternate months, girl:boy?
We should have reserves, yarss. I agree. Reserves with their own minis. Good thinking Batman!
Two of each flavour?

Keep your secret location secret - it'll make a nice surprise, as long as it's not Coventry's sewer system ?!!?
Hate to point out the year's almost half over do you do a 2010 'n take the opportunity to publicise it at this year's events 'n make the odd advance sale. How about looking at commercial marketing - if you could get yer bits on WHSmiths shelves

We used Jonspeed's unit as a backdrop (offered by them for free on a Sunday morning) and got the services (again free) of a pro photographer (very grown-up!). The pictures to be used were carefully selected by the photographer is consultation with a club member designated as the organiser (Lisa...whose idea it was). Ladies were banned from the shoot (unless they paid a hefty contribution to the charity) and once we had got over our embarrassment at standing naked with eleven other guys in a garage...(although for those of us who are ex-rugby players and have served with the Royal Marines this was quite easy!) it was a lot of fun.
We used a variety of Mini parts as props and my daughter has never quite gotten over me using her cone air filter...her car was in Jonspeed having a Stage 1 fitted..
The finished article used black & white photos which added to the tastefulness of it.
Some of the problems included getting the thing printed at a reasonable cost and getting it proof checked before we ran the finished copy.
In terms of time, we did the photo shoot in July 2004 which in hindsight was too late, ideally we should have had it ready to sell at that season's shows, as it was we couldn't start selling till Castle Combe which was too late really to sell serious quantities. I think we did 500 calendars in the end.
I am very proud to have been Mr January......one more thing to add to the life CV!!
