Its just that some people on here find the BINI a bit of a 'taboo' on here, its a mini forum, not a BINI forum, I understand what your trying to say, but its a topic that is best left alone .

I believe Rover developed the design, BMW bought Rover, continued production of the classic Mini for quite a few years, and then started production of the Rover designed MINI (or a very similar version of it), and finished production of the classic Mini as we know it.
