i agree with wolfie, a "second shot" on a button is potentially dangerous for the engine if activated at the wrong time.

you'd be better off using a progressive controller for a smooth delivery of N2O.

You missed the second shot should only activate on the button, AT FULL THROTTLE!

As i said , the "second shot" button will only activate at what , but then should only be activated at the correct RPM , the user MUST HAVE A BIT OF COMMON SENSE
as in the fact we trust drivers not to slam it into first gear at flat out in 3rd and dont need a box of tricks to stop the driver from doing this .
A progresive nitrous controler is definatly the way if you can afford it , but is not the ONLY safe way
but if you only take advice from people trying to sell you expensive bits of kit what do you expect ?

indeed, anyone with half a braincell can fabricate a similar system for a fraction of the cost. i was going to when i was concidering N2O.

i dont see the point of the proposed second button. adding the full whack of N2O at the same time shouldnt be any different than the power delivery of say a turbo. if youre concidering installing enough N2O to warrant delivering it in stages then youll need to upgrade some internals anyway (clutch to name one). its also worth remembering that MOST of the time 50bhp shot of N2O will not make 50bhp worth of gains.

may i suggest to anyone concidering N2O to go over to the NOSWizards forums where the professionals can advise accordingly. theyre a decent bunch, they wont try and sell you something you do not need. how many N2O companys do you know where the MD gives technical advise on-line. i say no more.

All very well said

All the team at wizards are very passionate about what they do, you could do no harm by chatting on the forum first regardless of what system you intend buying

Also these DIY solenoids what internals do they have? nearly all the soleniods out there uses a seal that degrads when using nitrous resulting in worst case a stuck open soleniod , i cant remember if its rubber ptfe ect ect the WON kit although pricey has pulsiods with a fantastic reputation iirc not one has stuck open
