made up a battery box , well more of a cradle really ... just needs a clamp made now to hold battery in :

Posted Image

rear brakes plumbed in .. still need to do fronts and bias valve yet ... :

Posted Image

and a shot of a big pile of mess , :

Posted Image

nearly finished both fuel lines , got the hand brake moved back , and one cable made
gear lever bolted down , but just need to weld the linkage back together ...

and drive shafts are still sitting in the drivers foot well.

Got Aron coming round for a few hours tomorrow , so that might get a few more jobs out the way....

Fuel tank finished off , all fittings welded in , , pre-pump filter fitted and all plumbed up :

Posted Image

thanks aron for all that...

made the battery clamp . bit OTT , but works ! , battery all connected/wired up as well now :

Posted Image

all fuel pipes are now in and connected up !

gearlinkage 95% done , but can seem to get any gears :) , need to check inside gearbox selector , as gear lever wont move forward or backwards

Posted Image

Started car up again yesterday and checked new fuel regulator was working ...
Car would not start at first , no fuel in pump .. but found out someone had wired the fuel pump in backwards !!! lol

just need to fit all the front brakes/shafts now and it should nearly be ready for a drive...

bit of a poop weekend on the car , i have rotated the throttle body around 90 deg to give me room for the brake master (tps was in the way) , but then had to modify the throttle linkage accordingly..

got one drive shaft in ... was a sod as there was no clip on the dummy drive shaft .. lucky i still had a passenger innner CV , allthough it was still in the gearbox .. and it was a bugger to get out ... but once it did i put the clip on and all was well.

Started mounting the ECU and new fuse box , done a mod to the megasquirt to give a RPM signal out to feed the dash

A-panel seams bent over.

thats about it , wanted so much more done .. but hey ho ...

did push it out the garage and turn it around .. :)

will get some pics up tonight.

rotated throttle body , this will all go once i get my new inlet manifold (with 2.5 TB)
Posted Image

Metro 4 pots thrown on , god i hope they work not got time to fit anything else :
This is the drivers side all done , still got passenger side all to do yet....
Posted Image

And the start of the wiring :
Posted Image
Carputer still to be mounted , and all the fuses and relays need wiring up ...but engine runs so thats the main thing.

Got to fit the brakes on the passenger side ,and then try and run the copper brake pipes to master...

Passenger side all done now as well :

Posted Image

was a bit of a pig , but got there .. got late and could not make to much more banging .. so just started making up the copper brake pipe through car to adjustable brake bias :

Posted Image

But all drives shafts and brakes are on . Hub nuts just need doing tight ...

Aim to get brake pipes finished tomorrow night ..but how its been going .. will be the weekend i guess :)

Aron popped over today , and we got some brakes working .. after fixing a few leaks ;) i got a pedal , not 100% happy .. but seems somthing to do with rear setup.

but anyway .. did a few pre flight checks and took it for a spin , :

after a few runs , i let aron have a go , i could then not get him out of it :

and just a general video of engine ..

in my mind the car did not smoke to much ??? :(

made the bonnet close now :

Posted Image

just need to fill in the hole .. allthough next time , i will not cut the edge of the bonnet off ! stupid me .. but will be using this bonnet to make a plug later anyway .. and get a CF bonnet made

got two arches on :

fronts :
Posted Image

could do with being a little wider but will do for now ...

and rears :

Posted Image

also started on the dash , fitted the digi dash , and switch panel , also the boost gauge :

Posted Image

the other mount is for the touch screen monitor for the megasquirt :D

overall shot of front end :

Posted Image

had to mod rear arch , as it would have hit the exhaust system :

Posted Image

and i fitted the boot lid back on , just in case you have not seen a mini boot here it is :

Posted Image

just working on dash loom at the momment , might as well do it properly so it all works from the word go ....
