Ditto. I read it over lunch and forgot to eat my sandwiches which is unheard of so it must be fascinating stuff

raditator mounted :

Posted Image

i will use the hole where the old filler neck was to mount a fan switch.
Posted Image

top hose outlet moved around to the side , just needs welding up now , will use the fitting above it as a feed back to the header tank i think.

my good friend Jim welded up my honda rad , and turned it into a vauxhall rad :D

moved fitting around to the side :
Posted Image

welded in fitting for the vauxhall fan switch :

Posted Image

also i bought his old TIG plant , and did my first ever TIG weld , welded in the O2 bung into the down pipe :

Posted Image

not bad for my first attempt , need to feed in a bit quicker in parts ... but should not come off.

there are a few bits i am not quite happy with , but will see how they go , and improve over time , want to replace all silicon with orange one day anyway LOL

front end on , just goes over it :D ,i might tart it up a bit with mesh or somthing but dont car for now :P

Posted Image

also re-fitted down pipe , and made bracket to mount to rear of block, as its quite heavy ;)

this turbo oild feed , causes me so many headaches ... could not find a fitting to fit turbo to oil feed, so had to make one out of another fitting :

Posted Image

we shall see if it leaks later ... used my TIG on it.

Just waiting on fitting to go into the block then it can be connected up :

Posted Image

Clutch master arrived , so modded it with a mini end , and made up a braided hose for it :

Posted Image

Fitted, anyone know what size thread the resivour port would be ? its a little bigger than the outlet ...??:

Posted Image

and it connected to slave :

Posted Image

a little messy with fittings , but did not quite have the correct one, will change it one day ...lol

shocks fitted :

Posted Image

And made one bracket for the header tank :

Posted Image

not all my bits have arrived ... see what turns up tommorow...

nearly got all my radiator hoses , waiting on a few bits , might need to mod the thermostat housing , or find a different bend one day , as its tight on the IC pipe work :

Posted Image

but will do for now ...

my ebay bucket seat mounts would not really fit in the mini , so had to make my own mounts , not pretty but should work , seat could only really go in one position due to its width , and the rear suspension setup.

Posted Image

Posted Image

you can see that i cut into the box section , will fill that in with some sheet.

next is to mount the corsa steering column so i can really pretend to drive !

fitted engine earth strap , fitted some vacum hose up to dump valve and waste gate ( not to the same place )

will try and throw the dash in for the weekend , must do some more welding on rear end as well.

not sure if it will be running for L2B , as i still need an adaptor for the oil feed.

and still have rear exhaust section to make (which i have done some on , but no pics yet )
