What does Sepped mean?
Lol... I was wondering when someone would pick up on that!
As I'm still learning, I get yelled at if I go over 60! But it gets there and will sit there quite happily... I'll tell you again in a month or so when I can find out for myself

As far as I'm aware it's standard, had the choke on a bit tho! mustv had the wind behind me but
the car was pretty happy doing it.

well dynoed my 1275 speedo said 94 mph so that means was 104 mph that was with kev driving so would go faster than that ill just check what my sat nave says for what ive done in it well the sat navs onviously broke says ive done 209mph hahahahahah that awesome me thinks mr garmins gone wrong
Car will always perform better on rollers than on the road as you don't have wind resistance hitting the car at an equivilent speed to that the vehicle is travelling at..... Mine did 121 mph at over 8000 RPM, changing the final drive would have given a theoretical top of 150mph at the same engine revs but this would be near on impossible due to the aerodynamic constraints.

My standard 998 mini with dodgy old points and badly tuned is comfortable sitting on 80k (49mph) but does not like being pushed much more. Will get to 100k just.

So that's what I did for a while, tootling about and generally chilling out!
My mother-in-law had probably never had it over 50 and had only done really short journeys.
However, as I began to service it and gradually built up the speeds, it came to life.
(I think the biggest change was removing the BLACK air filter...)
It's more than happy at 70, but I've given up speeding in my old age.
I should imagine that it would go another 20 on top quite easily.
It certainly sounds like it should.
So, get out there and service it!
65 sounds poor - air filter, all HT components, tank of fresh fuel, oil change.
